Posted on 05/21/2015
"Destination Graduation" will be reached for hundreds of high school seniors this weekend as all four county high schools hold graduation exercises at The Forum in Rome on Friday and Saturday. Model High will begin the graduation celebration on Friday with graduates crossing the stage at 7 p.m. The three other schools follow on Saturday with Pepperell High at 10 a.m.; Armuchee High at 2:30 p.m.; and Coosa High completing the weekend of graduations at 7 p.m. "Graduation is the ultimate celebration for educators as teens cross the stage to receive their diploma," stated Dr. Jeff McDaniel, superintendent of Floyd County Schools. "This weekend we will experience the ultimate accomplishment for students and teachers as the young teens complete their journey to "Destination Graduation" and teachers move our school system closer to its ultimate goal." The system theme and goal is "Destination Graduation for every child."  READ MORE...
