Coosa High

Jimmy Allred  
Jimmy Allred has been a lifelong resident of the Garden Lakes community.  He was a 1985 graduate of Coosa High School. He has been employed by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office since 1988 and serving in his 28th year of service. During this time Jimmy has served in many capacities. One year as a Jailer, 11 years in Criminal Warrants, six years in the Drug Task Force as an investigator, then returning to the Floyd County Sheriff’s office to take over the K9 unit handling/training Narcotic Detection K9s, and serving as a Community Relations Officer.

Jimmy is married to Sherry Allred (18 yrs), and they have two daughters Kelsey Allred (15) a sophomore at Coosa High and Kylee Allred (6) a 1st grader at Garden Lakes Elem.

Kirk Cowan - 
Kirk Cowan has lived in Rome, Georgia his entire life.  As a child, he attended West End Elementary, Coosa Middle and Coosa High Schools.  He played football and graduated from Coosa High School in 1993. After high school, Kirk attended Floyd College and Jacksonville State University.  He currently holds a Real Estate license and is the owner of GMC Valu-Mart located in Coosa.  His father began the business in 1971 as a Pharmacist and Kirk has worked there his entire life.
Kirk married Hope Holtzendorf in 1996 and they have two daughters, Anna-16 and Ansley-14.  Both girls attend Coosa HIgh School.  Anna plays varsity softball, basketball, track, and participates in Georgia High School Rodeo.  Ansley is a competition cheerleader and plays basketball as well. His wife works as a teacher at Alto Park Elementary and has been there for 17 years.  Kirk and his family attend West Rome Baptist Church and are all actively involved in the Coosa area.    

Tara Kelley 
Tara Kelley is originally from Cartersville.  Tara and her husband Bryan Kelley are proud members of the Coosa community.  Tara and Bryan have five children, three of which are proud Coosa Alumni, and Ian Harper is currently a sophomore at Coosa High.  She has been in the technology/telecom industry for 20 years and is currently leading a wholesale operations team at Momentum Telecom.  Tara feels strongly that the community is a key factor in educating & raising a child.  Tara commented, "I want to work with the administration & staff to improve our student's education, as well as assist with enabling our students to thrive in today's ever-changing landscape."  She added, "The opportunity to help one child is an opportunity to change the world.  Let's work together to help the children at Coosa High achieve their dreams."  

Kelli Gonzalez
Kelli Gonzalez is married to Luis Gonzalez, who owns JKL Investments, LLC, a rental real estate investment company.  Kelli and Luis have three children, Jaylon,
an 11th grader at Coosa High School who plays on the football and baseball teams; Gabby, a 4th grader at Garden Lakes Elementary School; and Cash, a kindergartener at Garden Lakes Elementary School.   Kelli is a CPA in Rome where she worked for a firm for 12 years before starting my own firm in July 2012.   "I would be honored to serve as one of the parent representatives for Coosa High School," Kelli said.  "I graduated from Coosa High School in 2000 and am thrilled to have a child who will soon do the same.  I would be excited to be involved in working towards making Coosa High School an even better place to go to school."
